We design & develop eCommerce sites that users love
What is our process?
1. Discovery
We help companies to build new e-commerce sites, improve existing ones or fix any specific need from the clients. As a first step, we work towards a business vision, strategy, objectives, and requirements together with the clients.
Then, based on the requirements, we work on the definition of possible solutions which are technically feasible, viable for the business, and can be handled into a specific budget. Together with the client, we decide on what solution to execute in the next steps.
People involved: Client, Senior Product Manager, Senior Product Designer, and Senior Developer.
Timeframe: 1 – 2 weeks.
2. Wireframing, Visual Design and Interaction Design
In this step, the design team starts making wireframes, user flows and architecture information of the solution.
This step will involve the product designers to define the logic and visual design of the product. Taking into account the users’ feedback, branding manual, copywriting, and best practices in UI/UX design.
As a result of this phase, the designers will approve the concept with the client and deliver all the necessary assets for the development of the e-shop.
People involved: Senior Product Manager, Senior Product Designer and Senior Developer.
Timeframe: 4 – 6 weeks.
3. Development in WooCommerce or Shopify
Based on the requirements and assets delivered by the design team, the developers start the implementation of the code using WordPress or Shopify depending on the business requirements. The work in progress will be shown in a development environment for testing purposes and final approval before going to be published.
Also, the development will integrate the e-shop with different analytics tools (like HotJar and Google Analytics) which help us to keep improving the product after the initial release.
People involved: Senior Product Manager, Senior Product Designer, and Senior Developer.
Timeframe: 4 – 6 weeks.
4. Quality Assurance
A tester will make sure that all the business requirements are accomplished by the development and that the product can receive the approval of the client.
People involved: Senior Product Manager, Senior Tester.
Timeframe: 1 – 2 weeks.
5. Public Release
After receiving approval from the client, the development team will set up the final version of the product and release it to the users.
People involved: Senior Product Manager, Senior Developer.
Timeframe: 1 – 2 days.
6. Weekly Analysis & Usage Data Tracking
After the initial public release, the game is just starting. Our product manager and product designer will track the analytics tools to make sure that the software is working based on user desirability and take insights to make future iterations of the product.
People involved: Senior Product Manager, Senior Product Designer.
Timeframe: 1 day/week
7. Iterations, UX Improvements and increase of Conversion Rate
Based on the weekly analysis, the team will define iterations, new features and improvements to be made into the eshop to increase the conversion rate and make the user experience better.
